MoonPay 同日還稱，上述高達 8,700 萬美元的融資，其實是屬於公司原先在去年 11 月 A 輪融資的一部分；據路透社報導，該公司於 11 月以 34 億美金估值獲得 5.55 億美元融資，領投方包括 Tiger Global Management 和對沖基金 Coatue，其中 Blossom Capital、Thrive Capital、Paradigm 和 NEA 也參與了該輪融資。
據悉，此次融資的其他投資者還包括說唱歌手 Aubrey Drake Graham 和 Adel Future Nur 的公司 Dreamcrew、演員葛妮絲．派特洛 Gwyneth Paltrow 領導的 Kinship Ventures、演員艾希頓·庫奇 Ashton Kutcher、Sound Ventures 的共同創辦人 Guy Oseary 、歌手 The Weeknd 與他的經紀人 Amir Esmailian。
