在香港政府近期宣言要成為亞洲加密中心後。總部位於瑞士，全球首家專門從事數位資產業務的加密銀行 SEBA 據稱將在香港成立新辦事處。
香港財庫局在十月底發表了《虛擬資產在港發展的政策宣言》，表示香港有著世界級的金融建設與監管，歡迎全球金融科技人才一同進入 Web3 世代，港府甚至將帶頭發行 NFT、推動債券代幣化、數位港元…等相關試驗措施。
而據《The Block》今日報導，獲得瑞士當地金融市場管理局 FINMA 的銀行和證券交易商牌照，成為全球首家專門從事數位資產業務的受監管銀行 SEBA，將在香港成立新辦事處。Seba 執行長 Franz Bergmueller 在聲明中表示：
「憑藉作為國際金融中心的悠久歷史，以及對加密貨幣的支持性監管方式，香港正在鞏固其作為全球加密貨幣領導者的地位。」
據悉，SEBA 香港計劃最初專注於市場研究和諮詢服務。而其在瑞士的總部則有提供一套受監管的銀行和投資服務，包括：交易、結構性產品、銀行帳戶、銀行卡、信貸、質押以及加密貨幣和 NFT 託管。
香港擬放行期貨 ETF，BTC 和 ETH 優先
另外值得注意的還有，香港證監會本月初還曾公布《有關虛擬資產期貨交易所交易基金的通知》，考慮授權主要通過期貨合約獲得虛擬資產曝險的 ETF 在香港公開發售的規定。
根據該通知，只有在傳統受監管管期貨交易所上市的虛擬資產期貨，才能獲准交易，ETF 發行商還需要證明其虛擬資產 ETF 有足夠流動性、衍生品凈曝險不能超過 ETF 總資產凈值的 100%、需要事先披露投資目標及主要風險、在推出 ETF 前要進行投資者教育…等。
而最有望在初始階段，率先推出的則是比特幣和以太坊期貨 ETF，證監會指出：
「初期，只有在芝加哥商品交易所（CME）交易的比特幣期貨和以太幣期貨可允許交易。證監會會密切留意情況，並會適當地考慮擴大符合資格的虛擬資產期貨市場範圍。」
