伍德承認，FTX倒閉和悲觀的市場情緒可能令機構投資者推遲採用加密貨幣，但事件最終會成為投資者學習的機會，當他們完成了「功課」，更了解實際情況，投資者將會更有信心投入比特幣和以太幣，作為踏入加密貨幣市場的第一步。她又說：「有時你需要實戰考驗，你需要經過危機才能看到倖存者」。伍德主理的旗艦粥金方舟投資創新ETF(ARKK)，曾在2020年飆漲約 190％，令她贏得「科技女股神」的美譽。但此後，受科技股和比特幣價格下跌拖累，ARKK在2021年跌幅逾50%，今年來也一路走弱，累跌超過六成。
若依照伍德的預測，即比特幣能在2030年漲到100萬美元，意味比特幣須在8年内，從現時的1.6萬美元上漲61,500%。
