早前因提前發現 Twitter、Instagram 等網站新功能而聞名的香港技術研究員、逆向工程專家 Jane Manchun Wong，今日（25）稍早在其 Twitter 上發布最新推文表示：
Twitter 正在開發能支持「加密貨幣存取」的 「錢包原型」。
目前 Jane 表示尚未獲得更多資訊，不清楚該錢包未來是會支持哪一條鏈、該如何與 Twitter 帳戶連結；但是該推文一出就快速引發網上熱烈的討論，基本上網友對該錢包的開發都抱持著樂觀的態度。
Twitter 近期擁抱加密貨幣
Twitter 公司一直以來都持續地在開發友善加密支付或 NFT 的相關功能。上週，Twitter 傳出正在與多家 NFT 交易市場進行合作，包含 OpenSea、Rarible、Magic Eden、Dapper Labs 和 Jump.trade ，以啟用名為「Tweet Tiles」，能支援展示 NFT 的貼文類型。
去年 9 月，該公司正式宣布推出 Twitter 小費功能，讓用戶除了能連結 Cash App、Patreon、Venmo 等帳戶進行打賞外，還可選擇透過比特幣閃電網路與 Strike 為支持的用戶打賞 BTC。今年年初，Twiiter 正式宣布：用戶只要每月花費 2.99 美元升級成為「Twitter Blue」，就能連接「加密貨幣錢包」，並將 NFT 設置在個人頭像。
