根據 Tesla 公布的 Q3 財報資產負債表， Tesla 本完整季度並未出售比特幣儲備，帳面上仍持有 2.18 億美元的認列「數位資產」。

鑑於 Tesla 在上個季度出售了多達75%的比特幣，Musk 當時在財報會議給出的理由是，因應中國疫情帶來的不確定性，讓 Tesla 現金儲備最大化是很重要的；而 Q3 Tesla 並未進一步出售比特幣，一方面在財報中能看出 Tesla 現金儲備再度上升至 211 億美元，已像之前 Tesla 面對通膨的計畫，針對製車原料上漲完成應對儲備量。
檢視過去歷史， Tesla 在 2021 年 2 月開始買入比特幣資產，根據當時 Tesla 遞交給美國證券交易委員會（SEC）的文件，當時以均價 31,250 美元購入 48,000 顆的比特幣。經歷 2021 年 Q1 賣掉 4,800 顆、2022 年 Q2 再賣了 75%，目前 Tesla 的比特幣持幣量應為 10,800 顆。
帳面損益：（現價 19,040 – 購入價 31,250）x 10,800 = 浮虧 1.31 億美元
Musk 喊：不會讓你失望！
雖然 Tesla Q3 營收 215 億美元，再創單季新高，EPS 達 1.05 美元，高於華爾街我預期的 1 美元；但交車數量卻不如預期強勁，尤其搭建新的超級工廠和電池生產線的成本持續提高，後續投資人擔心造成毛利率回檔，在 19 日盤後一度大跌達 6% ，後回升至 4%。
Musk 在昨天的財報電話會議上表示：
「我們期待第四季業績打破紀錄，我們可能擁有史詩般的一年結尾， Tesla 第四季有極佳需求，預計在可見未來，我們生產的每一輛電動車都會賣出去。」
而今早，Musk 也在個人 Twitter 上表示「我不會讓你失望，無論會付出什麼代價。」看似在對廣大投資人信心喊話。
