M Group 回應

有趣的是，該貼文還引來幣安 CCO Patrick Hillmann 的回應，Hillmann 在該貼文對質疑 FatMan 報導不實的記者 Jacob 展開了反質疑，聲稱 Jacob 過去的報導對 FTX 富有同情心，而對幣安具有敵意：

Jacob 為此也回應 Hillmann 的質疑，他表示他也正在撰寫有關 FTX 的報導，並稱自己沒有同情任何加密公司：

據了解，Jacob 在今年四月曾經發布報導幣安交易所在市場波動劇烈時，疑似透過不恰當手段來坑殺投資者引發爭議，文章描述交易員 Fawaz Ahmed、Francis Kim 兩位在去年 5 月 19 日黑天鵝事件爆發後，因為做空賺取了大量金額，後來卻因為幣安系統問題而無法平倉兌現，最後使得兩人蒙受巨大損失，報導稱幣安口頭上聲稱對安全性沒有任何妥協，但事實上卻不如他們所宣稱的那樣安全、保障客戶權益：
