以太坊合併的日子逼近， Vitalik Buterin 近日回應數個關於合併的問題。他認為，潛在的以太坊 PoW 分叉不太可能獲得大量、長期的採用，因為這些推動分叉的人大多數只想「賺快錢」。

 

推動分叉的只想「快速賺錢」

以太坊合併（The Merge）的日子臨近，ETH 可能硬分叉出另一條工作量證明（PoW）鏈。Poloniex、Gate.io、OKX…等交易所也都於近期宣布支持潛在的 ETH-PoW 分叉。

以太坊共同創辦人 Vitalik Buterin（V神）在剛 Ethseoul 線上研討會上表示，他預期潛在的以太坊 PoW 分叉不太可能獲得大量、長期的採用，相信絕大多數以太坊社區都支持 PoS 合併。

V 神補充提到，那些推動分叉的人都是局外人、大多數只想「快速賺錢」，且他認為以太坊經典已經擁有一個優秀的社區和優秀的產品、大力提倡工作量證明的價值；但儘管如此，V 神也承認「市場仍有可能分裂」。「如果工作量證明分叉獲得巨大的吸引力，那麼肯定會有很多應用程式必須選擇一種或另一種方式，預計會有很多市場混亂和問題…我希望無論發生什麼都不會導致人們賠錢。」

以太坊合併令幣價急升是錯誤的

V 神上月曾表示：「基本上我預期合併（The Merge）的影響並不會體現在以太坊價格中，無論從市場角度、還是從心理和敘事角度來看都是如此。」

有些不是那麼熟悉以太坊的投資者，會以為轉換到 PoS 機制後，交易速度就會大幅提升；但其實這是個誤解，雖然合併後速度確實會加快大約 10%，但要真的帶來根本性的改變，則要依賴其他四個階段的升級：The Surge 指的是分片，以太坊未來將不只有單線程處理交易，而是多條分鏈可以同時進行交易與驗證；The Verge、The Purge 指的則是在新的共識層以及過去舊區塊儲存的數據進一步縮小，以實現 TPS （每秒交易次數）增加的可能；The Splurge 則是在四個升級之協調，降低 BUG 與錯誤率的升級。

望擴容方案使加密貨幣支付成主流

V 神昨日在 2022 年韓國區塊鏈周（KBW 2022）上發表主題演講時表示，加密貨幣支付將再度變得「合理」，因為有了 Layer 2 Rollup 方案後，交易成本將很快降至零點幾美分。他指出：「如今有了 Rollup 技術，交易手續費通常在 0.25 美元之間，有時是 0.10 美元，在未來，隨著我所說的 Rollup 技術有了所有方面的效率改進，交易成本可望降至 0.05 美元，甚至可能低到剩 0.02 美元，更便宜，更實惠，這將徹底改變遊戲規則。」

V 神在演講中概述了幾個不同領域，例如在低收入國家或現有金融體系不完善的地方，便宜的加密交易能為公民帶來幫助，同時也將促進非金融應用的採用：像是 DNS 伺服器、人類出席證明協議（POAP）、Web3 帳戶管理服務…等。他最後總結道，擴容方案旨在專注於讓成本降低等，這將「啟用及解鎖」全新類別的應用。
