據彭博報導，剛與借貸理財平台 BlockFi 完成信貸與收購條件的 FTX US，又有下一步動作。FTX US 共同創辦人 SBF 表示，他對加密貨幣挖礦產業的收購，保持開放態度。

 

SBF 考慮收下受難礦商

彭博轉述 SBF 說法：「我們看礦業的時候，他們確實有可能將會受到些微影響，甚至會抵押挖礦設備用來借貸。這對我們也是一個機會，我並不想低估其可能性。」

SBF 表示正在尋找一些資不抵債的礦業公司，它或許會對加密借貸公司的資產負債表帶來衝擊。

不過 7 月 3 日，否認了正在特別找尋礦業公司的說法。他表示，我們真的沒有特別在找這領域的公司。

彭博表示，熊市讓礦工難以籌集資金因應過去兩年積極擴張留下的債務，自去年 11 月以來，熱門礦機的價值已經折半，而透過礦機抵押的貸款高達 40 億美元。因此可能會出現併購機會。

美國上市礦業公司 Marathon Digital Holdings 就曾在四月表示，對於出售採取開放態度。該公司股票自上市以來，已下跌高過 90%。
