隨著比特幣近幾個月持續下跌，許多投資人都在等 2 萬美元關鍵價位來抄底， MicroStrategy 自然也不例外。其執行長 Michael Saylor 6 月 29 日晚間在推特發文指出，MicroStrategy 以約 1 千萬美元的現金，購買了 480 枚比特幣，平均單價每枚比特幣 20,817 美元。

 

MicroStrategy 逆境中繼續持有比特幣

今年稍早，MicroStrategy 曾以比特幣為抵押擔保品，向加密貨幣銀行 Silvergate Bank 貸款 2.05 美元，以購買更多的比特幣。對此，MicroStrategy 財務長 Phone Le 曾表示，如果比特幣跌破 21,000 美元，由於抵押資產的價格下降，公司就會被追繳貸款保證金，意味著 MicroStrategy 必須為貸款提供更多抵押品，否則就不得不出售部分比特幣持倉。

然而，Michael Saylor 似乎並不擔心，他當時向投資者保證該公司有能力償還債務，而若比特幣持續下跌，該公司也會使用其他抵押品作支持，以此間接否認「賣幣」之說。

他本月稍早更表示，MicroStrategy 早預料市場會出現波動，因此已調整其資產負債表，以便公司可以在逆境中繼續持有比特幣。

今年 5 月，儘管拋售潮席捲加密貨幣市場，但 Michael Saylor 仍然表態看好比特幣，當被問及「是否有賣出比特幣的目標價位」時，他回應稱，「不，我們是長期參與的。我們的策略是購買比特幣，並一直持有比特幣，因此沒有所謂的目標價位。」他補充道：

「我預計比特幣將達到數百萬美元。所以，我們很有耐心。我們認為這是金錢的未來。」

根據提交給美國證管會（SEC）的文件，這些比特幣是在 5 月 3 日至 6 月 28 日之間購買的。截至 6 月 28 日為止，MicroStrategy 共持有 129,699 枚比特幣，全數比特幣購買成本總計 39.8 億美元，平均成本每枚比特幣約 30,664 美元，但這也意味著，MicroStrategy 目前所持比特幣的帳面虧損已達 13 億美元左右。
