遊戲發行商 Take-Two 在 2 月正式宣布，《俠盜獵車手》正在開發當中。消息指，《俠盜獵車手 6》將在 2024 年推出，並將引入類似比特幣的加密貨幣系統。

消息人士表示，由 Rockstar Games 開發的知名開放世界動作遊戲《俠盜獵車手6 》（GTA 6）預計將在 2024 年推出，並引入類似比特幣的加密貨幣系統。

目前關於《GTA 6》的遊戲消息有諸多傳聞，但都未獲官方證實。《Screenrant》報導，其餘傳聞包括玩家將可以在遊戲中跨洲旅行，主角將是一對雙胞胎，遊戲場景將發生在現代巴西、罪惡城市、Manhunt 癌症城市等。

事實上，去年 6 月，知名遊戲情報爆料者 Tom Henderson 曾在 Twitter 上爆料，他聽說在《GTA 6》中，有些遊戲任務將使用加密貨幣作為獎勵，而非現金。

引入加密貨幣

《Watcher News》報導，《GTA》系列一直以來走在時代前沿，2004 年推出的《GTA 4》，就在遊戲內引入股票市場，名為自由城證券交易所（LCSE），但玩家無法進入大樓；而在 2013 年推出的《GTA 5》更加前衛，玩家被允許操作股票，可透過手機上網訪問 BAWSAQ 和 LCN 交易所進行買賣。

若能在《GTA 6》中引入加密貨幣，可能會是個重大突破。加密貨幣也可以作為故事元素添加至遊戲情節當中，使玩家賺取多種形式的收入，遊戲中的加密貨幣億萬富翁可以對玩家指派任務，並用加密貨幣支付。
