曾經使用 BAYC 作為社交媒體頭像的名人，如 NBA 球星 Stephen Curry 等已經變更頭像。本文源自《Bored Ape Yacht Club is Racist and Contains Nazi Dog Whistles》，本文編譯者為 老雅痞。

 

BAYC 涉種族歧視、吹捧納粹 深陷負面輿論

相信無論是在長期混跡於加密圈的 OG，還是初入圈子的新手，對於 BAYC 這個名字都不會陌生。即便是在 NFT 寒冬的如今，BAYC 仍有高達 1,716,537,043.03 美元的市值（數據來自於 NFTGO）以及近百枚 ETH 的地板價，同時還衍生了 MAYC、Otherside 等一系列熱門 IP。作為 NFT 賽道的龍頭，BAYC 創造了太多傳奇。

近日來，BAYC 再次處於風口浪尖，不過這次並非是因為其驚世駭俗的價格上漲或是商業方面的重大舉措，而是由於一些相當敏感且負面的話題。

6 月21 日，YouTuber Philip Rusnack 發布影片控訴 BAYC 採用納粹圖案，同時在 NFT 形象設計上奉行白人至上主義。

他聲稱 BAYC 圖像，以抹黑黑人和亞洲人民的種族主義漫畫為藍本，並將 Yuga Labs 和 BAYC 使用的符號和語言與納粹 Totenkopf 標誌進行了比較。Rusnack 呼籲他的觀眾將持有的 BAYC 發送到黑洞地址進行銷毀。

反誹謗聯盟（ADL）極端主義中心的高級研究員 Mark Pitcavage 認為 BAYC 的徽標與 Totenkopf 之間沒有關聯，但同意其中一些 NFT 的特徵和屬性是有問題的，例如帶有金鏈的「嘻哈」特徵和「壽司廚師頭帶」分別是對黑人文化和日本人的刻板印象。

但無論結果到底如何，此次事件都在歐美地區引發了廣泛的討論，甚至曾經使用 BAYC NFT 作為自己社交媒體頭像的名人，如 NBA 球星柯瑞等，也紛紛換掉了頭像。

 

納粹狗哨？種族歧視？

而對於此次事件，有個人是不能不提的，他就是 Ryder Ripps。

此人可謂是 BAYC 的「黑粉頭子」（非貶義），從 2021 年 12 月以來，Ryder Ripps 就開始調查BAYC 及其創建者 Yuga Labs。通過數月的深入研究，Ryder Ripps 和其他社群成員發現了 BAYC 與網路納粹巨魔文化之間存在廣泛的聯繫。

BAYC 的猿猴形象有各種服裝和特徵，Ryder Ripps 認為其大多數特徵都具有種族導向，或涉及某種類型的軍事歷史。

歷史上有一個臭名昭著的詞彙「Simianization」，它是指將某個種族或少數族裔的成員貶低地比作猿或猴子的行為。這種行為已經有數百年的歷史，其目的是通過將指代對象同猿類進行比較來證明針對另一個群體的暴力和種族主義是正當的。

Simianization 曾大量發生於猶太人、愛爾蘭人和亞洲人等不同種族群體中，但它最主要還是充當應對黑人的策略。甚至時至今日，這種行為仍未根除，例如在賽場上向黑人足球運動員扔香蕉的野蠻行為。

而 Ryder Ripps 認為 Yuga Labs 就是在通過 BAYC，以 Simianization 的方式對於亞洲人民和黑人進行種族歧視。同時，Ryder Ripps 認為Yuga Labs 團隊故意在整個項目中嵌入納粹狗哨，居心叵測。並羅列出十幾條證據，證明自己並非信口開河。

Ryder Ripps 羅列的證據如下：

1、BAYC 的標誌看起來與納粹的 Totenkopf 標誌非常相似，甚至在頭骨上包含相同數量的牙齒—— 18 枚。而 18 這個數字同阿道夫希特勒淵源頗深（18 是阿道夫希特勒的白人至上主義字母數字代碼 1=A、8=H）。

 

除此之外，這兩個標誌都有一個參差不齊的邊緣，這在其他圓形標誌中非常罕見。

2、BAYC 由一家名為 Yuga Labs 的公司發起，而 Kali Yuga 則是另類右翼/傳統主義意識形態的流行元素。Yuga Labs 努力將傳統主義哲學家 Ren Gunon 的名字、另類右派圖標元素、猿猴等要素嵌入 NFT 當中。

Ren Gunon 被認為是將 Kali Yuga 引入進西方思想的人。猿猴這個詞就更不必解釋了，這是一個眾所周知的種族誹謗詞。

3、BAYC 的共同創辦人之一自稱為 Gargamel，一個來自藍精靈的名字，被公認為是猶太人的反義詞，也是 4chan 上用來討論猶太人的常用術語。

而 Gargamel 的真名是 Greg Solano，他是一位作家，他的本科論文是關於納粹小說的，並表示有興趣將漢斯·賴特（黨衛軍軍官）這樣的角色融入他的寫作中。

4、BAYC 的另一位共同創辦人 Emperor Tomato Ketchup，與 1971 年的一部露骨電影同名，其中有一個穿著法西斯制服的男孩強姦成年新娘的場景。原版電影在美國和其他國家以兒童色情為由被禁止。

5、BAYC 其中一位共同創辦人自稱為 Gordon Goner，其讀音相當類似於 Drongo (Gordon) Negro (Goner)，Drongo 是常見的 4chan 和澳大利亞俚語中的愚蠢。所以這個名字的含義可以理解為「愚蠢的黑人」。

Gordon Goners 的真名為 Wylie Aronow，網上幾乎沒有關於他的任何資訊。但 Ryder Ripps 聲稱能找到一個認識他的人說「我毫不懷疑他們是加密法西斯主義者」。

6、BAYC 最後的共同創辦人是 SASS。SA（Sturmabteilung）是納粹黨最初的準軍事派別，而 SS（Schutzstaffel）是主要的準軍事納粹派別。所以他的名字 SASS 結合了納粹的兩個主要軍事部門。

7、BAYC 的電子遊戲以及滾石樂隊的封面均以老鼠為主題，這是一種常見的反猶太主義協會。該遊戲還具有排列成看起來像萬字符的香蕉，其含義相信不用過多解釋

8、在 Yuga Labs 網站上，他們表示另一個 NFT 系列——The Hashmasks，是一個很好的靈感。Hashmasks 由瑞士公司 Suum Cuique Labs 製造，這是納粹在布痕瓦爾德集中營大門上使用的短語。而這句話也用在了 BAYC 系列中的普魯士頭盔的臉上。

Yuga Labs 受到 Suum Cuique Labs 的啟發，甚至他們的服務條款都取自 Suum Cuique Labs。

9、BAYC 圖像本身的符號、內容和態度都有新納粹思想和戰爭的參考，比如「普魯士頭盔」。許多更具體的特徵與 4chan 很相似。

10、BAYC 共同創辦人 Gargamel 在接受採訪時承認，BAYC NFT 的集合中沒有任何東西是「隨機的」，它們都具有隱藏的加密含義，並引用了「冰山理論」來說明。在同一次採訪中，Gargamel 引用了 Ludwig Wittgenstein 的名言「讓不可言喻的東西被不可言喻地傳達」。

BAYC 的版權漏洞

除了蒐集與公佈上述的證據之外，Ryder Ripps 還創建了RR/BAYC 系列 NFT，該系列 NFT 共10,000 枚，其外在形象同 BAYC 幾乎沒有任何分別。

按照通常的情況，這種仿盤般的做法迎來的應該只有下架一條路。而 Opensea 作為一個中心化程度極高的交易市場，這次下架應該極為迅速的。

但讓人意想不到的是，RR/BAYC 並沒有迎來想像中的下架（準確來說是先下架，又恢復了）。同時，在 6 月 21 日，RR/BAYC 24h 內的交易量直接超過 BAYC 和 CryptoPunks 兩大龍頭，登頂Opensea 24h 交易額榜首，其地板價也一度超過 1 個ETH。這無疑是在狠狠打臉 BAYC。

RR/BAYC 的價格起飛可以說明兩個問題：

1、BAYC 自身的版權是存在問題的。因為目前 BAYC 的營運團隊並不包含猿猴形象創作者本人，因此無法享有完整的著作權。自然也無法要求下架 RR/BAYC。舉例而言，BAYC 可以禁止他人盜用自己的形象，但無法阻止他人畫出和自己相同的東西。

2、RR/BAYC 可以視為是 Ryder Ripps 對 Yuga Labs 發起的挑戰。其價格的起飛其實也體現了公眾對於此事的態度。關於種族歧視和納粹狗哨問題，Yuga Labs 必須正面給出回覆。

加密圈最近的確是不太平。

原以為對加密市場和機構資產進行去泡沫化將成為接下來熊市的主旋律。不成想緊隨其後，就存在有人夾帶私貨，裹挾意識形態的問題。

不過不論是資金層面的去泡沫化，還是揪出人群中的老鼠都絕不是壞事。這說明加密市場是在監督下前進的，且前進方向也充滿正向意義，因此這一切都讓我感到來日可期。

熊市漫漫，但不要失去信心，投資永遠不可能只是一場短跑，耐心蟄伏，加密貨幣和我們都將迎來光明。
