杜拜虛擬資產監管局（Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority，VARA）宣布元宇宙進入監管，並在沙盒的中虛擬世界中建立元宇宙總部（MetaHQ）。

 

在元宇宙保持領先地位

杜拜虛擬資產監管局旨在為虛擬資產（VA）部門提供安全和漸進的營運架構，使其不斷發展產品和底層技術，同時保障市場和投資者。

杜拜王儲兼杜拜執行委員會主席 Rashid Al Maktoum 在元宇宙沙盒揭幕時表示，杜拜在技術轉型保持領先地位，VARA 加入元宇宙，成為杜拜和元宇宙的第一個政府機構，開創杜拜政府利用現代創新擴展其在開放的技術範圍內向人民提供服務和監管權力。

他指出，VARA 代表建立一個新的、強大的經濟部門，該部門為國家經濟做出貢獻，並創造新的投資機會，因此，我們在元宇宙的存在標誌著一個杜拜政府向未來進軍。

創建分散的監管模型

為了在 Metaverse 中實現經濟自由，杜拜元宇宙總部創建了一個分散的監管模型，允許利益相關者共享或交換知識，並集體解決問題。元宇宙總部將是主要管道，吸引全球 VASP 啟動應用程序，使年輕人能夠進入元宇宙，與消費者、監管機構公開分享知識和經驗，以提高認識、安全採用並推動全球互操作性。

杜拜世界貿易中心管理局局長 Helal Saeed Almarri 表示，杜拜將虛擬資產行業視為全球未來經濟的驅動力，作為全球虛擬產業第一個監管機構，杜拜虛擬資產監管局的元宇宙總部也使阿聯酋成為第一個進入該平台的司法管轄單位，「反映了我們領導層實現可持續經濟自由的無國界新市場」。
