據《紐約郵報》昨日援引兩位知情人士報導，Elon Musk 本人似乎願意用自己的現金投資 100 億至 150 億美金將推特私有化。

外媒報導，Elon Musk 本人願意用自己的現金投資 100 至 150 億美金將推特私有化，並計劃在 10 天左右的時間內推出對 Twitter 的收購要約，也傳出他在尋找投資人方面似乎比預期的更困難。

消息人士指，如果有必要，Elon Musk 也可能拿出他目前持有的 Twitter 股票抵押借款，此舉可能會額外籌集數十億美金，另外也傳出他已經委託 Morgan Stanley，透過傳統的槓桿方式，再融資 100 億美金，並計劃在 10 天左右的時間內推出對 Twitter 的收購要約。

資金籌集或出現困難

雖然 Elon Musk 貴為全球首富，實際上他多數持有資產都屬於非動產類型，例如：Tesla、SpaceX 股票，無法直接以可流動資金收購 Twitter，但若真出售其他公司持股來換取現金，又可能會影響相關公司股價。

雖然此前曾向 Tesla 與 SpaceX 投入大筆資金的投資人對收購表現出興趣，市場就傳出 Elon Musk 可能會與私募股權公司銀湖投資集團（Silver Lake）合作，但目前銀湖投資尚未有正式回應，且多數私募股權公司更傾向遠離政治爭議，很少願意參加敵意收購、他們也擔心將無法控制 Elon Musk。

另外也有人懷疑 Twitter 是否真的值 430 億美金，因為該公司不像 Meta 旗下的 Instagram、或者如字節跳動的 TikTok 那般快速成長，評估價值方面比較困難。消息人士稱，私募股權公司不會因為「標題風險」而獲得報酬，消息人士也指出，馬斯克的時間相當緊迫，若要想成功收購必須獲 Twitter 多數股東支持，才能直接向他們提出全額收購，Twitter 他可能會發起一場代理權之爭，改變 Twitter 董事會結構、解除毒丸計劃。Twitter 年度會議預計將於 5 月 25 日舉行。

彭博分析師：Twitter 不需要 Elon Musk

Elon Musk 此前曾表示他投資 Twitter，是因為相信它有潛力成為全球言論自由的平台，而他會釋放這個潛能，彭博專欄作家 Timothy L. O’Brien 撰文呼，Twitter 真的不需要 Elon Musk！O’Brien 表示，Elon Musk 雖然是超級網紅，擁有超過 8,200 萬名粉絲，不認為他真的能以言論自由之名，行民主之實，因為他偏頗的立場前科累累，更像是「無知的訊息傳播者」，實在讓人無法信服。
